Facilities
1) Lecture Theaters: Four fully air-conditioned lecture theaters, gallery type with 250 seating capacity complete with audiovisual aids and facility for E-conferencing.
2) Demo Rooms: All the preclinical and paraclinical departments have been provided with two demo rooms each with 80-90 seating capacity and audiovisual aids.
3) Common Rooms: Separate well-furnished common rooms for boys and girls with attached toilets having 100 seating capacity each have been provided in the college block.
4) Labs: Well furnished and well-equipped Lab with a seating capacity of 90 each with attached anterooms have been provided for conducting practical classes as per NMC norms.
5) Library: A fully air-conditioned central library with a carpet area of more than 28000 sq. ft. has been provided in the college block. The library has the facility of an outside reading room for 250 students as well as an inside reading room for the students and the staff. Internet facilities with 20 nodes each have been provided for the students and the staff. The library has a requisite number of the latest medical books on different subjects as well as National and International scientific journals. The library is open for the use of students and the staff from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM on all working days and 9.00 AM to 5.00 PM on sunny days and holidays.
6) Auditorium: 500+ Seating Capacity
Heritage IMS features a modern auditorium with a seating capacity of 500+, providing a spacious venue for academic and institutional activities. The auditorium is suitable for seminars, conferences, CME programs, guest lectures, workshops, medical presentations, cultural events and official functions.
Equipped to support large academic gatherings, the auditorium provides students, faculty, medical professionals and guests with a comfortable environment for learning, knowledge sharing and professional interaction.
7) Cafeteria: The cafeteria at Heritage IMS provides students, residents, faculty and staff with a convenient space to relax and enjoy meals and refreshments during the day. The cafeteria is designed to provide a comfortable and hygienic environment within the campus.
It also serves as a social space where students can interact, take breaks between academic sessions and enjoy time with their peers.
8) Gymnasium: Heritage IMS provides gymnasium facilities for students and residents, encouraging them to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle alongside their academic and clinical responsibilities.
The gymnasium provides an opportunity for students to incorporate regular physical activity into their daily routine and supports overall physical fitness, wellness and stress management.
9) Doctors’ Residents: Heritage IMS provides residential accommodation facilities for doctors and medical residents within or around the institutional campus. These facilities are intended to provide a comfortable and convenient living environment for residents who are involved in academic, clinical and hospital duties.
Being located close to the medical college and teaching hospital helps residents manage their clinical responsibilities effectively, particularly during emergency, night and on-call duties.
10) Hostels: Heritage IMS provides hostel facilities for medical students, offering a comfortable and supportive residential environment within the campus.
The hostel environment is designed to support students throughout their academic journey, with convenient access to academic facilities, library, laboratories, hospital and other campus amenities. Separate accommodation arrangements are provided as applicable, with an emphasis on safety, discipline, cleanliness and student well-being.
11) Mess: The Heritage IMS hostel mess provides regular meals and refreshments for resident students. The mess facility is intended to offer hygienic and nutritious food in a comfortable dining environment.
A dedicated mess facility helps students maintain regular meal schedules while managing the demanding academic and clinical routine of medical education.
12) Computer Lab: The Computer Lab at Heritage IMS provides students with access to computer-based learning and digital academic resources. It supports students in accessing educational material, preparing presentations, conducting academic research and completing computer-based assignments.

13) Skill Lab: The Skill Lab at Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences provides a structured environment for medical students to develop and practice essential clinical skills before applying them in real patient-care settings.
